Many motorists want to beat this snowy weather that may roll around for a little while and will turn to a 4x4 – or a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). Choice is expanding year by year – and it is possible to spend anything from a few hundred pound up to £75,000 on a used example. 

It is also true to say that during the winter months 4X4s will suffer little or no depreciation and this is the time of year when all other cars are experiencing a more accelerated rate of price fall.
